Jon Barnett / 2004
Jon Barnett graduated Cy-Springs High School in 2004. He went on to attend Prarie View A&M and California State University and graduated as a film major in 2008. He cut his teeth in entertainment as a Production Assistant on Jimmy Kimmel Live for two and a half years. Shortly after that he went on to work for Sarah Silverman, Micheal Cera, Reggie Watts, and Tim and Eric’s digital collective JASH as a Production Coordinator and Development Associate. He was named the Head Writer of The CBS Diversity Showcase in 2016 which went on to be their highest attended show at the time. He’s written/developed content for All Def Digital (Russel Simmons), AwesomnessTV, DreamworksTV, Playboy, IFC, and LOL (Kevin Hart).
He’s currently and Producer/Writer/Director for Pocket.Watch a production company that’s best described as Nickelodeon for the digital age.
